‘The Floating Dance’

Butterflies in Spring

Spring rings the Ether’s song,

on which Nature’s melody floats

And the White Light…

The light white butterflies dance along,

having found their true song

More often, they are two than one

And for the one butterfly?

It knows well that the two are One

And the White Light…

The pine trees feel the Ether’s song,

on which Nature’s breeze floats

And the White Light…

The light green leaves dance along,

in unison to Nature’s song

More often, one tree, one bark

And for the tree of two barks?

Well it also knows that the two are One

And the White Light…

The White Light knows well

that the butterfly was in the caterpillar,

as the tree was in the leaf

It knows of the Dance,

of the butterflies,

of the pine trees and of their leaves

All floating,

on Nature’s melody of the Ether’s true song

As One!

Walid K

Walid recently rediscovered his passion for writing when he came across some poems which he had written more than 20 years ago.

Walid receives inspiration when spending time in nature and when reading or listening to authors like Alan Watts, Carl Gustav Jung, Fritjof Capra, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Gregg Braden, Bruce Lipton, Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy, Wayne Dyer, Denis Waitley and Anthony Robbins.

He also finds that he unveils deep insights and reflections when writing speeches that he delivers at his local Toastmasters’ public speaking club.

Rumi said, “there is a voice that doesn’t use words… listen”. When we spend time in nature, and when we read and write about subjects we resonate with, we begin to hear the whispers of our inner voice.
